ARTICLE 1 : Security

Tours take place outside skiing hours and follow pre-arranged routes, by arrangement with resort services management.

It is imperative that these tours are accompanied and supervised by qualified guides, who are employees of our company.

Under no circumstances may an unaccompanied person rent a snowmobile for use in the ski area.

In the interests of safety, SARL 2 ALPES MOTONEIGE reserves the right to refuse rental to any person it considers unfit to drive a snowmobile.

ARTICLE 2 : Obligations of the driver and the passanger.

Snowmobiles may be rented solo or with a passenger.

For reasons of force physical, women drivers may not take passengers.

The driver and the passenger are entirely responsible for their behaviour

The driver and the passenger must strictly adhere to the guide's instructions.

The driver must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The driver must always follow the guide's tracks, and must not deviate from them.

The driver must never overtake, and should maintain a distance of approximately 10 metres from the machine in front of him/her.

Helmets must be worn.

Drivers must be over 18 years of age, and be in possession of a valid "car" driving licence.

The driver and the passenger must behave in a proper and reasonable manner.

Ski boots may not be worn while using a snowmobile.

ARTICLE 3 : Payment and Cancellation.

Payment is required in full before each departure, in exchange for a receipt ticket.

The receipt ticket may not be refunded or exchanged. It is only valid for the day and time specified on it. We reserve the sole decision to postpone the departure in the event of poor weather conditions. Only reservations for the Friday may be refunded in the event of cancellation (on our part).

Late or postponed departures are not subject to any form of refund or damages on the part of SARL 2 ALPES MOTONEIGE, except in the event of force majeure.

ARTICLE 4 : Commitment and Behavior.

Prior to each departure, tour participants will be given instructions on behaviour and safety regulations which must be respected. The guide will act immediately to sanction those failing to respect these instructions.

The person renting acknowledges that he/she has taken charge of a machine in perfect working order.

The person renting is responsible for his/her machine. In the event of a physical damage occurring during a tour, due to a failure to respect the safety and behaviour instructions, SARL 2 ALPES MOTONEIGE reserves the right to claim financial compensation from the person renting, covering the damages.

ARTICLE 5 :

The duration of a tour is one hour. However, this duration may vary depending on the capabilities of the participants and the uniformity of the group. Because of this, a tour may be completed in 50 min. or 1 hour 10 min. These variations may not incur any damages whatsoever. Furthermore, in the event of an accident which causes a delay, subsequent tours may be delayed, although their duration will not be affected.

Article 6 : Insurance

SARL 2 ALPES MOTONEIGE declares that it has an insurance policy with the "AXA France" company for the winter 2007/2008 season, covering the following risks:.

Public liability / Tort remedy for theft, fire and collision damage.

Owner's third party liability: company manager, snowmobile rental.

The driver is only covered in the event of SARL 2 ALPES MOTONEIGE being proved to be at fault, the passenger is insured. SARL 2 ALPES MOTONEIGE cannot be held responsible for damages or injuries to first or third parties resulting from negligence, poor operation or failure to observe the instructions.

In the event of a dispute concerning these rules and regulations, the competent courts will be those having jurisdiction where the renter's head office or any of its subsidiaries is based.
